On November 8-12, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Penn State will offer a weeklong celebration of entrepreneurship, startups and networking. Kicking off the week, Centre Region Entrepreneur Network (CREN) and Women’s Networking Group of State College will host a networking event at the brand-new Penn State Innovation Hub from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 8.
“CREN is really pleased to be part of the GEW event where people associated with entrepreneurship from a wonderfully broad range can come together at the newly completed Penn State Innovation Hub in the spirit of enabling random collisions of entrepreneurial learning,” says CREN founder Todd Erdley. “The entrepreneurial spirit is strong in the Centre Region and this event will be an amazing chance to connect in ways never before possible.”
The Entrepreneur Connect: A Community Networking Event is the start of a week filled with opportunities to connect community members and aspiring entrepreneurs with Penn State’s vibrant ecosystem of investors, researchers and startup champions.
“GEW Penn State provides robust tools and resources to help entrepreneurs explore, network and learn,” GEW Event Coordinator Elizabeth Fegert said. “Whether you’re an experienced or aspiring entrepreneur, there are a wide variety of opportunities to learn more about entrepreneurial topics such as policy, ecosystems, diversity and inclusion, and more.”
Entrepreneur Connect: A Community Networking Event will be held at the Penn State Innovation Hub at 123 South Burrowes Street on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5:30pm – 7:30 p.m. The event is open to all student and community entrepreneurs. Appetizers will be served. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP ahead of time.
