Those products include TraffiCloud, a secure, web-based traffic device and data management system that allows users to create their own future-forward traffic management platform. It empowers users to seamlessly view and print reports, access traffic devices, deliver dynamic messaging and make data-driven traffic management decisions.
Similarly, product ParkingCloud is an innovative solution that integrates existing and new technology and devices, while providing a single platform to access data, with a simple, user-friendly dashboard. ParkingCloud automatically counts the number of vehicles coming in and out of spaces, lots and garages; provides lot and zone counts for tracking and planning; and offers the ability to direct parkers to available spaces efficiently while providing real-time availability to drivers.
ATS also offers law enforcement's next go-to solution for accurate speed measurement. DragonEye Speed Lidar is a lightweight, handheld device that's accurate from up to 6,000 feet away. Its true color display and rugged design make it comfortable and practical. Additionally, it automatically uploads each target acquisition to the Trafficloud and features an obstruction mode to enable targeting through fences, trees and wires.
However, these new solutions are hardly “new” for ATS. The company has a history of paving the road toward smarter traffic solutions. In 2013, it became the first company to utilize connected sensors to collect and transmit traffic data to a centralized database, when it patented its cloud-based SmartApps technology. It was also the first to offer a cross-manufacturer trade-in program for traffic safety equipment, the first to create connected traffic signs, the first to innovate ultra-portable speed display signs and the first to create variable message boards and radar speed signs that could work and communicate with one another.

In addition to encouraging its employees to participate in the annual United Way Day of Caring, which planted more than 300 flowers and shrubs at a Happy Valley nursing facility, the company also recently launched a new initiative.
