The Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference is quickly approaching — and if you plan on participating as a capital-seeking entrepreneur in the event highlight Venture Connection, time is running out to apply.
The Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference brings together more than 50 investors and many more entrepreneurs for more than a thousand face-to-face meetings and, for the 2021 virtual conference, while things may look a little different, the connections still have a huge impact. Entrepreneurs and investors are matched up based on considerations like industry, investment need and other key criteria, and have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to share pitches, discuss funds and investment strategies and then take the conversation further if needed. However, to participate, entrepreneurs are required to apply by Feb. 19.
Not an entrepreneur yourself but know a deserving startup founder? You can nominate an entrepreneur for participation in the Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference, also by Feb. 19.
In the past, the conference has drawn more than 800 attendees from across the country, making it one of the largest tech startup conferences in the Mid-Atlantic region, attracting startups from a range of industries including healthcare, advanced manufacturing and biotechnology.
If you or someone you know is seeking capital, there’s no better place to look than the Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference (and you don’t even need to be Penn State-affiliated to participate!). The two-day event kicks off April 15, 12 p.m., and, beyond the Venture Connection event, will include can’t-miss agenda items, including keynote speakers, virtual happy hours and informative sessions on topics like investing in rural America, venture growth in the COVID-19 era and IP protection.
