Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator @State College, in partnership with the Invent Penn State initiative, has a new batch of graduates that are equipped with business know-how, marketing tools … and cash prizes of up to $10,000 to help launch their new business. The winning company, BoB Profit Partners, took home $7,000 for their retail technology solution that eliminates merchandise loss.
Craig Moyer with BoB Profit Partners said, “The TechCelerator event was well organized, well facilitated, and super efficient in presenting and covering a mass of business start-up information.”
“The knowledge and experience of the coaches and presenters were invaluable,” he added. “It was a safe environment to question and seek clarity when topics needed a better understanding. I credit the program leads and coaches for the great experience afforded me as a participant. Thank you for the investment in new business start-ups!”
A total of eight entrepreneurial teams completed the ten-week, virtual business startup boot camp that went over intellectual property, business models, value propositions, revenue sources and more.
