As Moore Power Sales celebrates its 29th year in business, founder John Moore reflected on the company’s past successes and future plans.
Moore founded Moore Power Sales in 1995, following his decade-plus of experience in sales elsewhere. Since, Moore Power Sales has been working to help companies and individuals dissatisfied with their selling efforts.
According to Moore, “They may be doing well, but they know there is more potential, and they are frustrated trying to capture it. We also help companies hire stronger sales performers and evaluate their current salespeople to uncover specific sales weaknesses in order to grow their effectiveness.”
Compared to sales training services that simply provide a one-off event that doesn’t enact lasting change, Moore said that his company partners with clients to provide on-going training, coaching and reinforcement. Current clients represent the agriculture, manufacturing, IT, retail and startup spaces, and include Creative Composites, Cargill and McLanahan.
Now, looking ahead, Moore called the future “very bright.” The company’s Sandler franchise — which teaches the Sandler Selling System — has recently refreshed its content for the younger professional, and developed its remote training so that Moore Power Sales can offer both remote and in-person sales training services. Additionally, new AI learning tools and coaching are also now available.
So, as his company approaches its 30th birthday, what’s the secret to Moore’s success thus far?
He said, “The key is never becoming complacent, feeling entitled or [stopping] prospecting.” Moore also places an emphasis on remaining on “the cutting edge of new science, like brainwave research and artificial intelligence.”
