Summary:

The Agile Product Manager will collaborate with Blue Mountain Quality Resources development leadership, stakeholders, and execution teams on roadmap development and solution design for our software products and projects related to Blue Mountain’s Life Sciences SaaS Solutions. The role will focus on facilitating and aligning product vision and execution with Blue Mountain strategies.

Our customers in the Life Science Industry create innovative medicines, cell and gene therapies, and medical devices to improve a patients’ quality of life. Our software supports improvement of their efficiencies, collaboration, and compliance, thus allowing them to focus their resources on developing innovative life-changing products.

Essential Responsibilities, Skills and Duties:

· Working with Blue Mountain's leadership and stakeholders, communicate vision for our product that aligns with BMQR’s strategy

· Assess customer needs, perform market research, gather business partner needs and suggest features for digital products.

· Gather data from qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform roadmaps

· Work with executive leadership team, customer operations, and technical teams to gain alignment on product vision and roadmaps

· Work across the business to prioritize epics/features, organize product increments, and present on product roadmaps.

· Own and drive execution of our Agile DevOps process, including the implementation of Jira (or a comparable Kanban-oriented tracking system).

· Present clear and well-defined goals for product increments

· Participate in solution strategy process to ensure that solutions being defined align with increment goals. Track and manage metrics to measure product performance (e.g. adoption metrics, customer satisfaction, etc.)

· Be a customer advocate, be passionate about customer success.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working on a product team, preferably with direct experience as a Product Manager for a SaaS or cloud-based software company.

· Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

· Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders and influence technical and non-technical partners.

· Proficiency of the product management discipline.

· Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.

· Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

· Ability to translate customer needs into desired product capabilities.

· Ability to plan for and coordinate dependencies across teams.

· Experience with the scrum framework/backlog management/agile development tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

· Experience in the Life Sciences industry

· Experience implementing product analytics supporting analysis around feature impact analysis and segmentation of users by properties and behaviors.

· Experience with driving user adoption of a B2B SaaS product
