As HappyValley Industry celebrates its second anniversary, it’s getting a brand-new look, thanks to a State College-based company Loop Software, a software solution company that builds enterprise-grade web applications.
Since April 2020, HappyValley Industry has been celebrating innovation and industry in the Happy Valley area, so when it was time for an update, it was no surprise that the cutting-edge resource was only minutes away from our headquarters.
“We chose Loop Software because of the value of the face-to-face strategy meetings with a State College-based company. We also wanted to partner with a company that has the capabilities to handle high level traffic and scalability for the many additions that we are in the process of launching,” HappyValley Industry Publisher Greg Woodman said.
Jason Oakman is the co-founder of Loop Software and has his own Happy Valley success story. He graduated from Penn State and boomeranged back to the area to start the business. “I love this place,” he said. “Life is good here in Happy Valley. Even as an entrepreneur, it is possible to have some work/life balance.”
The company provides software tools that delight companies like Oshkosh Corporation, where it provides a software platform for electronic parts catalog and e-commerce associated with replacement parts for their customers. Oakman said the software they currently have is only for high-end ERP Systems but they have plans to bring such services to smaller companies. Oakman’s team brought that technical expertise and hands-on service to the HappyValley Industry redesign.
Speed. Lots of speed. “There's no need to wait for pages to load,” Oakman said. The new structure means that you can catch up on stories when you have time, without wasting any time.
Clean, uncluttered HappyValley business news. “The interface is driven by new content as it is posted,” Oakman said. That, coupled with faster loading time means that it is easier to catch up on Happy Valley's innovation news quickly and easily.
Capacity for big things to come. “HappyValley Industry in the process of launching several new components of the site,” Woodman said. “We’re passionate about telling innovation stories and helping connect talent and industry with Happy Valley companies and are excited to unveil new ways to make that happen.” Watch this space!
