Have a great business idea, but just not sure if it’s viable? Apply to participate in Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank’s virtual Idea TestLab.
The four-week program helps entrepreneurs and teams better assess a business idea for viability, including customer discovery and problem analysis. You’ll get to talk with at least 40 potential customers to better understand their needs and identify their characteristics, as well as their consumer habits. You’ll also learn how to identify current competition and your own value proposition.
While getting into the program is competitive, you still have until Feb. 19 to get in your application. If accepted, you’ll enjoy virtual group meetings, one-on-one mentoring, program materials and eligibility for a $3,000 customer discovery grant.
Due to this year’s pandemic worries, the program is all-virtual, so before you apply to participate, ensure that you’ll have access to all the necessary tools for online meetings and programming. Those in the very beginning stages of entrepreneurship are best suited for the program.
“If you’re looking to start out the new year by working on that business idea you’ve been kicking around, the Idea TestLab is a great place to start,” says Ben Nason, idea catalyst at Happy Valley LaunchBox.
Apply for the Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank virtual Idea TestLab before Feb. 19, at https://launchbox.psu.edu/ideatestlab/.
