If you’ve ever shopped around for a new home, you’ve likely come across more than a few home listings that, unfortunately, do very little in the way of actually helping sell the property. Poorly lit, unprofessional photos of poorly staged, even sometimes messy, dirty rooms, encourage you to quickly move along to other options.
On the flip side, if you’ve ever sold a home (whether your own or on behalf of a client), you likely know how difficult it is to get amazing photos that really showcase all that a home is and can be to potential buyers. Even the most well-meaning relators sometimes lack a little in the photography skills department.
This is a two-sided problem that was apparent to Stephanie Girouard, professional photographer and director of creative services at Homes2vu Photography Services.
“We saw a need for quality real estate photography in the State College area,” Girouard said. “When we started our business, our focus was specifically in real estate. Through time, demand has expanded our services.”
Now, Homes2vu Photography Services solves, more generally, the problem of insufficient imagery for overall marketing in both print and digital use, with a particular focus on real estate, interior design, commercial photography, and branding and lifestyle photography. The business also offers drone and interior video services, social media-specific visuals and virtual staging.
“There are many photographers in the area, but we focus [on] the home space. Interior design photography, real estate, developers, commercial listings and branding imagery for those in this space,” said Girouard.
And the outlook for Homes2vu? Girouard calls it “excellent,” noting, “We have proven over the last eight years that we can successfully provide beautiful imagery for marketing purposes, in a timely manner, at a fair and reasonable price.”
