MCM Consulting Group, Inc. (MCM) currently has an opening for an Electronics/ RF Engineer in their Innovation Park, State College, PA office.

The Electronics/RF Engineer should have the knowledge and ability to consult on broadband, land mobile radio, microwave and network projects with a knowledge of system design, product capabilities, RF propagation and microwave path profile software, system loading, FCC and FAA rules and regulations. Engineers should also be familiar with public safety systems including 911 center technology, EOCs, public safety towers, next generation 911 systems, microwave systems and broadband, land mobile radio analog, P25 phase I and phase II technology. Engineers should have a working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office, and smart phones. Engineers should have excellent verbal and writing skills.

The Electronics/RF Engineer must have an Associate Degree or higher in electronics/electrical engineering with studies in radio frequency electronics. The Electronics/RF Engineer must always have and maintain a valid driver’s license while employed. The Electronics/RF Engineer must be able to travel, including overnight travel. The Electronics/RF Engineer must have access to a reliable vehicle for travel while employed. The Electronics/RF Engineer must pass credit and criminal background checks as a condition of employment.
